Can you illuminate
a Book of Hours?

The year is 1265. In a small Parisian atelier, a master illuminator and her apprentices begin work on a Book of Hours for a noble patron. Parchment must be sourced and prepared, pigments ground, gold leaf laid, and miniatures designed and painted. The deadline is fixed; the patron’s expectations are exacting; the budget — 125 livres — has to stretch across every choice. Time, coin, and craft are all you have.
